National Association for the Deaf t/a DeafHear
DeafHear – the national charity providing services and advocacy for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing people, is putting in place a number of changes in its organisational structure to better align its operations in meeting the requirements of the clients and communities that it serves.
Established in 1964, DeafHear (formally the National Association for the Deaf) provides an extensive range of specialist services to over 32,500 deaf and hard of hearing people and their families nationwide. It also has a significant and wider impact on the lives of all deaf and hard of hearing people through advocacy and campaigning for improved health and education services in Ireland, and for better access for all.
